Pimp my Foto is a unique face recognition Facebook application which was born out of a Creative Industries Innovation Fund Pilot Project.

It is different from other image based applications as it allows users to add expression to their photos uploaded on Facebook. They just need to connect to a webcam and customise their face with their choice of items. Once happy with the look, they take a snapshot and post the foto on Facebook for all their friends to see.

Pimp my Foto is an application which ultimately makes you laugh and allows you to get your own back on your friends. It has a simple user interface for the wide audience that allows users to fully interact and if a webcam is not available for face recognition, there is still the option to use a photo from the computer.
