Overview

We had been working with Belfast City Airport with their email marketing and they wanted to see what we could bring to the table via their social media to help gain new fans(likes), so our team put their heads together and ‘Up an Away’ was born.

The Concept

Well what goes in and out of an airport all the time? Planes. So we thought what if you could jet off with your friends and let everyone you know on Facebook know about it. We also felt you may only have 5mins while you snooped around on your lunch, so it had to have a smooth process.

Up and Away is a simple application that allows you to become a pilot via connecting your Facebook account, choose where you are going, who you want to take with you and what message you want to leave in the sky as you fly off into the sunset.

The Outcome

A simple to use Facebook application which once shared posts a link on your wall for all your friends to visit and see where you’re going.
